He acts as the Audience Surrogate in Final Fantasy XII, but becomes the main protagonist in Revenant Wings. When he sneaks into the royal palace and steals an incredibly rare ( and significant) piece of magicite, he becomes entangled in the uprising against the Empire. He is an orphan, his parents having died from the plague when he was young, and lives with Penelo at Migelo's house.
